LOVING and EMPOWERING victims of domestic violence since 2007

Our Mission

To love and empower women victimized by domestic violence.  By coming alongside domestic violence shelters, we are able to provide them with the necessary tools and services to help survivors of domestic violence take those next steps towards a life free from abuse.

We are founded on three principles...love, empowerment, and hope.  It is with these building blocks that we have designed an organization that ministers to the hearts and souls of the hurting.

LOVE

"Let us not love with words and speech only, but with action, and in truth." - John 3:18

Extending love in a tangible way allows us to help reshape a culture that recognizes the invaluable role of women.  ALL Women are beautiful and worthy of love.  As a masterpiece is precious, so is the life of every woman. We are committed to reaffirming the incalculable value of each woman’s life by reinforcing this truth continually throughout the healing and rehabilitation process.

EMPOWERMENT

A woman empowered is a woman with a future! We advocate relentlessly for every abused and battered woman – the wives, the mothers, the daughters – without a voice of their own. Violence is unacceptable! We applaud the courage of the women who say “enough is enough,” and acknowledge their conviction to create a new life for themselves and their families

HOPE

Hope is powerful.  By its very nature, it inspires change, cultivates independence, and gives meaning to a life that was once full of doubt and pain.  Offering a glimpse of hope to these women opens the door to endless possibilities, and the confident expectation of a life without abuse.

Operation Pretty Things is celebrating 10 years of service!  As we grow, we never want to lose sight of where it all began.  From North Carolina to wherever our reach will take us...we will continue to LOVE and EMPOWER victims of domestic violence, and be a glimpse of HOPE, after all...hope is contagious.
